After six years of writing research reports, visiting companies, participating in conference calls, and putting our capital on the line, LD MICRO is proud to announce its inaugural conference on April 29th, 2008.

We are inviting 60 of our favorite companies and over a hundred institutions that focus on and invest in small and micro-cap names.

250 investors are scheduled to be in attendance, half of which are coming to Los Angeles from elsewhere to enjoy the beaches and escape the office. Fair enough.

The conference will be held at the beautiful Omni Hotel, rated the #1 hotel in the city by Tripadvisor.com.

The special rate for LD is $189 per night. We are strongly advocating that everyone stay at the hotel on the night of the 28th. Traffic is a life force here in Southern California that is more difficult to predict than many stocks. Please do not take any chances.

The conference will start at 8 AM sharp and go on until 5 PM. Each company will have thirty minutes for their presentation, immediately followed by a thirty-minute breakout session. All companies do have the option of conducting private one-on-one meetings as well.

The night before (April 28th, 7:30 PM), we will have a keynote address and panel discussion conducted by Chris Lahiji, who will share knowledge, generate laughter, and offer insight to those in attendance the night before the main event.

LD has learned a few things from visiting various conferences over the years and will "tweak" things a bit. Our goal is to provide amenities and services that can one day become standard. The only way to experience them is by showing up.

Our ultimate goal is simple: To bring out our finest ideas and place them in front of the right audience.
