With the market at all time highs, we are doing our best to find some dope names in the micro-cap space.

The early list of confirmed companies is stellar and will get even better in the weeks ahead.

We will not let you down.

In fact, we shall light it up.   :-)

251 companies in attendance

Over 1,400 attendees

Over 2,500 private meetings

One empty bottle of Tums

Getting through the Main Event given the conditions (both internal and external) was similar to Rocky fighting Ivan Drago: long and brutal. A few people overheard me telling attendees that we will never do a four day conference again. The same belief holds true today, as we transition LD into a smaller, more niche oriented player. In my opinion, this is going to be beneficial for everyone involved. Let's talk about June.

 INVITATIONAL (JUNE 1-3, 2015) MAIN EVENT (DEC 1-3, 2015)

The Invitational was created five years ago to host our "best ideas" in an intimate setting. It started with just 15 names. Last year we had 84, and it was packed from start to finish. This year we will have 180. We opened up registration last week very quietly. In two days, we have had 60 companies sign up, and have reason to believe the roster will be stacked. Our goal is to bring the names that do not present anywhere else in the micro-cap space. Both the Hotel Angeleno and the Luxe Sunset are accepting reservations. Registration is open right now. Invited guests should be receiving e-mails shortly.

The Main Event will feature 200 companies in early December and will be roughly two and a half days long. We are beyond excited to host our 8th installation. This will be the first time in our history that we are deliberately decreasing the number of presenting companies. Last year, we could not grant invites to over 700 people and 150+ corporations because of size constraints. We are taking names for the Main Event but formal registration will begin shortly after the Invitational is over.

We are going to be reducing attendee counts in 2015. Both the Luxe Sunset and LD Micro have decided that sometimes in life, "less is more". The cost to attend for the sell-side will also increase this year as our expenses have grown substantially as well. If you include labor, it was a seven figure price tag last year. In 2014, we had over 60 sponsors and we think the number will be even higher in the years to come. To remain truly independent, we appreciate all those that share our vision and help us with the costs of putting the shows on.     Earlier this month, the small and micro-cap world gathered together in Dana Point, California for the industry's "Super Bowl". The Roth conference featured over 500 companies from all industries and some memorable entertainment to boot. From our own experiences hosting events, I can confidently say that what Miss Isabel Mattson-Pain and the entire Roth staff go through annually is nothing short of astonishing. The logistics, setting, layout, complexities, and size are all gargantuan in scale. Bryon, Ted, and Isabel are in a "league of their own", and should be commended for all their hard work. We are honored to have them as a partner.

Our policy is to never announce our June event until the "Super Bowl" has come to a close. With that being said, the industry has quite a few solid conferences on deck.

Next month, we are looking forward to going to Vegas for the Kraft's Growth Stock Expo. Last year was its inaugural, and the setting was terrific. We did better in the presentation rooms than Blackjack. Vegas is the ultimate, and gaming will naturally be a theme this year.   :-)

May is packed with two very large and prominent firms. The B. Riley conference will be held at a new location this year on May 12-14th. They are leaving the beaches of Santa Monica for the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. B. Riley always has a phenomenal roster of quality companies to see, and this year will be no exception.

A couple of weeks later, Marcum is having their annual shin-dig in New York. They are now expanding the event to two days, and will have a record number of companies in attendance. Marcum has done a great job featuring a lot of unique names in the nano and micro-cap space and it should not be missed. We are proud to have them as a partner and sponsor.

The reason we started a conference in the first place was that every event we attended had the same names presenting. We thought it was possible to change that.

It took a lot of hard work and convincing, but most professionals agree that having an independent event is good for the industry and beneficial to everyone involved.

We are on the cusp of changing something that is much, much bigger. A bottleneck of sorts. An intellectual "zit". An itch that needs a good scratch.

A Gift for the Micro-Cap World

Whether you are our closest ally or someone who repudiates our existence, it genuinely makes no difference to us.  Our goal has always been to make everyone around us better. Everything we do internally is based on this one belief.

We can not wait to show you.

Even more importantly…..

We can not wait to see you in June.  :-)

Happy Easter,

Chris Lahiji
