It also has an option to acquire an additional 23,440 acres of placer mineral claims adjoining the Columbus project area; and owns a right to acquire the Red Mountain project, a prospective gold, silver, and tungsten property located in San Bernardino County, California.
The company was formerly known as Merritt Ventures Corp. and changed its name to Ireland Inc. in December 2005.
